Money and public awareness of leukaemia has been raised by the Leukaemia Youth Foundation (LYF) to the extent that, to date, about $55,000.00 worth of essential medical equipment has been purchased by the Foundation for the Millenium Institute at Westmead Hospital, as well as for Liverpool Hospital and Fairfield Hospital. 

With the continued financial support of corporations, small business and individuals, the many projects LYF is planning to undertake can be achieved.

The Foundation's main activities for raising funds have been through the collection from the public (by way of clothing collection bins and, to a lesser extent, door to door collection bags) of donated clothing and other materials, and the sorting, sale or processing for sale of such clothing and materials, including rags, to industry.

On 12 May 1999, we purchased from Blanca Rags Pty Ltd its second hand clothing, rag collection and retail business to the extent that it relates to collection from clothing bins, and that business has formed the cornerstone of our developing cleaning cloth supply business. Our price list follows:

Our charity's used clothing collection, sorting and sale activities are conducted from an Industrial Unit at Unit 7/64 Heathcote Road, MOOREBANK  NSW 2170. We welcome visitors and possible customers by appointment only.
